But eventually, they meet again, and this is their story, the story of a downtrodden clan facing the harsh realities of life in a Godforsaken land down under.
Based on actual historical events and lives, Beyond the Seas is an action-packed novel about explorers, gold miners, gamblers, gangsters, and corrupt officials. Meanwhile, the Askers encounter every imaginable obstacle as they strive to lift themselves from the grinding poverty they were born into.
Beyond the Seas is the first book in the Asker series first published in 2009 and now being republished with an additional book making seven in total. Published at Smashwords as an eBook, Beyond the Seas is free and includes a sample chapter from the next book in the series, Caraher's Lane.
